...both literally and metaphorically. the freezing weather has killed my sense of feeling. Blah. and thoughts about my current way of living and my future aspirations have left me feeling dead and apathetic. 3rd Rock from the Sun is playing in the background. what an incredibly funny show!


just like I have already announced both loudly and proudly numerous times on that magical night, Friday was the most fun I've had in a long time. plus the only surface my vomit had touched was the toilet bowl. hooray

I hate how the holiday season and shopping have such a positive correlation. What happened to the simplicity of Christmas? And it's true meaning?? The birth of Christ?? Really?? Whatever.. people are incredibly superficial nowadays. Am I right or am I right?

Although the man has finally served up new sh!t for us Sufjanatics, I'm hardly pissing my pants with excitement at these Christmas tunes he's constantly dishing out. I honestly just want another state album already. Uhh, when the hell is the California album going to be made??? Oh well, Christmas songs are better than nothing. Oh that Sufjan! You gotta love him.

hello social life. At least I hope so. work shouldn't eat away at it too much.

Did I tell you I'm hooked on eBay? Seriously. I'm trying to buy some old-school games that you can't find anywhere in stores these days. Like Bust-A-Groove 2, best dance/music game EVER! Seriously, just look at the undoubtedly awesome gameplay/music/design.

New Radicals - Get What You Give
This is a great, feel-good, song. I've always felt a sense of poignancy whenever I listen to it. For some reason, it just stuck to me and became one of my favorites. I'm still diggin' it today.






Aqua- Cartoon Heroes
Haha. I love the beat and the tune to this song. And it's so damn catchy! The male vocals could use some work though. But it adds character.






Eagle Eye Cherry - Save Tonight
Pure gold. I can never get tired of this song. I pretty much like everything about it( lyrics, vocals, tunes..) I wish more songs were like this one.






Vertical Horizon - Everything You Want
I think the lyrics play a big part in me liking this song. It's at a level where it's not JUST a song but something incredibly profound and personal for me. Especially the bit where he says "I am everything you want, I am everything you need," instead of "He is everything you want." That part just really gets me, and I have to say that I can definitely relate to those specific lyrics. Definitely one of my favorites.
